Pink flamingos - photographs captured by the camera. (11.10.2021) - Pink flamingos are a rare bird, sealed on a camera lens as part of an expedition to the Sudoche-Akpetkinsky State Reserve, organized by the press service of the State Committee for Ecology. Flamingos feed in shallow waters, often on the shores of salt lakes. The strange shape of their beaks is designed to search for small insects in the soil. The pink color of flamingo feathers is due to the presence of a special substance in the diet - carotenoids.
