The Ecology Department of the Paxtachi district in the Samarkand region received a report that a predatory bird, the eagle-owl, was being kept in one of the houses. 

After investigation, it was discovered that the eagle-owl was located in the garden of M. Mukhammadiyev, who lived in the Ukrach mahalla. The local inspector for prevention was informed by M. Mukhammadiyev himself.

The bird, which was under constant supervision, underwent a medical examination and was taken to the rehabilitation center of the Zarafshan National Nature Park for temporary care.

Soon, the eagle-owl will be released back into the wild.
