Since 2013, the tradition of celebrating Migratory Animals Day has appeared in Uzbekistan. Various members of the animal kingdom undertake dangerous and grueling journeys from time to time simply to survive as a species. By celebrating this date, the public and scientists want to draw attention to the problem of migrating animals dying due to various man-made obstacles. Uzbekistan has ratified the Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals.
