On October 28 this year, the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan will open an exhibition of the Uzbek-Chinese cultural exchange "Masterpieces of Nature of Uzbekistan and China" dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the "One Belt - One Road" initiative.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, in conjunction with the Academy of Arts, the State Museum of Arts, the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan, Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline Company Limited, and Shanghai Construction Group, will be attended by representatives of ministries and departments of the republic, cultural and art figures, entrepreneurs, artists, teachers, and students of art colleges and universities from China and Uzbekistan, as well as media representatives and others.
The exhibition will feature over 40 paintings by Uzbek and Chinese artists depicting the most unique landmarks, natural phenomena, and wildlife of Uzbekistan.
After a two-day demonstration of the exhibition at the Museum of History, some of the paintings will be sent for presentation at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road," where they will be transferred to the university's fund.
