In order to combat environmental violations and prevent poaching,  the Department of Ecology of the Surkhandarya region is conducting control and raid activities.

One of such activities was organized ion the territory of the Muzrabat region in cooperation with the border troops of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the event in the territory of the mahalla "Bogi eram," the fact of illegal hunting of a wild boar by two individuals using homemade traps was established.

In connection with this, an administrative protocol has been drawn up against the violators under Article 90, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It has been determined that as a result of the illegal hunting, damage amounting to 4 million 950 thousand soums has been inflicted on the animal world. Each of the offenders was fined an amount of 10 BRV - 3 million 300 thousand soums. Fines and damages were collected from citizens.
