On November 9th, an International Forum titled "Children and Youth in Action - Climate Change in Central Asia" will take place in Tashkent.

The event is organized by the International Public Fund "Zamin" with the support of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, on the occasion of World Children's Day and the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023 (COP 28).

The aim of the forum is to recognize the role of children and youth in addressing the negative consequences of climate change through the promotion of environmental education.

For reference, earlier on October 1-5 this year, a Central Asian Youth Environmental Camp dedicated to COP-28 was organized in Samarkand.
COP-28 refers to the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates from November 30th to December 12th this year.
