The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change is launching a new project in collaboration with the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from January 1, 2024, a rating system for water conservation called "Economical House" and "Economical Apartment" will be implemented in Nukus. The aim is to promote the rational use of this valuable resource and encourage water conservation.

At the end of the program, 20 private houses and 20 apartment buildings that consume the least amount of water will be rewarded. Specifically, the winning apartments will receive free installation of solar panels or home lighting devices.

Remember! Natural resources are not unlimited! Therefore, use water wisely.
