In late December, the super final of the popular TV show "X-Factor" took place on FTV channel. The Uzbek show was organized by the UzReport Information Agency with the support of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Tourism Committee, the payment system PayMe, and the multinational company Procter & Gamble.
For information, the auditions for the show took place in the five largest cities of Uzbekistan: Samarkand, Namangan, Bukhara, Khorezm, and Tashkent. Approximately 6,000 people participated in these auditions. After several stages of selection, 12 vocalists competed for the title of the country's best performer and the main prize of 100 million soums in live broadcasts on the television channel. The expert jury included renowned artists Lola Yuldasheva, Ibrohim Ahmedov, Ravshan Kamilov, and singer Jasmine.
As part of the TV program, talented participants of the project and Uzbek pop stars performed vibrant concert acts on stage. The guest of the evening was Armenian and Russian singer Sevak Khanagyan, the winner of the 7th season of the Ukrainian project X-Factor, who performed his best hits.
It is worth noting that during the superfinal, the participants of the project presented a video dedicated to the environmental problems of Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region, the tragedy of the Aral Sea, and the promotion of environmental conservation.
The finalists of the show were three talented young artists - Shokhjahon Khalimkhonov, Khairiniso Akbarova, and Zhavlon Sapoev, with the latter two making it to the superfinal. In the battle for the first place among the superfinalists, Zhavlon Sapoev, a singer from Khorezm, emerged as the winner based on the results of the public voting in the PayMe payment system.
