The first stage of "Clean Air" Month continues in all regions of the country, within the framework of which 58,822 vehicles have passed environmental control from April 10 to the present.

This is organized in order to ensure the implementation of the requirements of articles 16, 17, and 28 of the Law "On Atmospheric Air Protection" and Article 11 of the Law "On Environmental Control", as well as to carry out state environmental control over the condition of motor vehicles.

As a result, it was found that 518 vehicles emit harmful substances into the atmosphere above the norm. In total, according to the relevant articles of the Administrative Code, fines in the amount of 50.1 million sums were imposed on 303 drivers. The movement of 222 vehicles has also been temporarily stopped.

Recall that the first stage of "Clean Air" Month this year will last until May 10. A total of 200,000 vehicles will be subjected to environmental control during the event.
