The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecologyand Environmental protection invites interested companies to participate in the selection procedure for the right to conclude an agreement on the subject of: Ecological expertise of environmental impact assessment (EIA) materials – «On environmental impact assessment for licensing of the Uzbek Nuclear Power Plant (NPP)site. Stage – site selection for the NPP» and preparation of a conclusion on the materials in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan «On Ecological Expertise».
Mandatory requirements for specialists and candidate companies for the role of consultants for ecological expertise of EIA materials for nuclear facilities:
– Knowledge of the legislation and regulatory documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of ecology, environmental protection and radiation safety;
– Knowledge of federal norms and rules of the Russian Federation in the field of atomic energy use;
– Knowledge of IAEA publications on infrastructure issues;
– Knowledge of Water-Water Energetic Reactor technologies and experience in assessing their environmental impacts (stage of site selection);
– Experience in conducting relevant methods of calculation, modeling and forecasting using appropriate software.
– Availability of consultants in the required areas with knowledge of the Russian language.
Consultants experience in conducting ecological expertise of materials for assessing the impact of nuclear facilities is an advantage.
