On August 10 of this year, the inspector of the Ecology Department of the Tashkent region, A. Mirzaakhmedov, was injured while performing his duties in the Akhangaran district. The collected materials on this fact have been sent to the district prosecutor's office for legal proceedings.

As previously reported, the inspector arrived at the «Tarakkiyot Bakhtiyor» farm located in the «Oybulok» of the Akhangaran district to study the situation related to burning straw on grain-free fields, where he faced resistance.

According to the General Prosecutor's Office, when the inspector attempted to draw up a protocol, a resident of the «Oybulok»district born in 1993 - citizen F.O. inflicted bodily harm on the inspector and tore up his official identification and documents. As a result of a medical examination, the inspector was diagnosed with "hemorrhage under the conjunctiva of the right eye, a stab wound to the nose, right cheek, and left chest."

Citizen F.O. has been detained by the prosecutor's office of the Akhangaran district in accordance with Article 227 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. In connection with the situation that has arisen regarding him, a criminal case has been opened under part 2 of Article 219 and part 2 of Article 227 p. "a" of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Ecology takes a tough stance in cases of violation of environmental legislation and responds promptly to incidents identified. 

Unfortunately, despite this, there are citizens who do not seek to support efforts to preserve the ecological balance and protect the environment.

Currently, thanks to the efforts of the country's leadership and concerned citizens, the work of environmental inspectors in nature protection measures has been strengthened. The Ministry of Ecology, together with the General Prosecutor's Office, also monitors cases of attacks on inspectors, deforestation, illegal hunting of animals and birds, and other violations of environmental legislation. This means that any unlawful behavior in the field of ecology will be strictly punished.
