On August 27, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, together with the ProRun running school and Sanfa, organized the UZPLOGGING ecological race.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology Jusipbek Kazbekov, representatives of partner organizations, media and participants.

"Because plogging is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and shaping an environmental culture among the population, explaining that rubbish should only be disposed of in designated areas, and that our main responsibility is to keep nature clean," added J. Kazbekov.
The event began with a meeting of plogging participants near the collection point in the Eco Park. Despite the rainy day, participants ran more than 3 kilometers, collecting plastic waste along the way.
Each participant received a special medal made of recycled plastic and a t-shirt. Participants who collected the most waste by weight became winners.
