The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change is conducting a series of activities as part of the nationwideproject "Yashil Makon".

It should be noted that during the spring season, 127.7 million seedlings and cuttings were planted.

In the spring season, the fulfillment of the plan established within the framework of the national project “Yashil Makon” (“Green Space”) amounted to 100.9% in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 103.9% in Andijan region, 103.2% in Bukhara region, 102.2% in Jizzakh, 100.9% in Kashkadarya, 101% in Navoi, Namangan, 102.1% in Samarkand, 101.5% in Surkhandarya region, 101.3% in Syrdarya, 102.9% in Tashkent, 104.4% in the Fergana region and 103.6% in the Khorezm region, as well as 105.5% in the city of Tashkent.

In addition, it is planned to plant 85 million seedlings of ornamental, fruit trees and shrubs during the autumn season. In particular, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 5 million 950 thousand, in Andijan region - 6 million 551 thousand, in Bukhara region - 6 million 573 thousand, in Jizzakh region - 6 million 732 thousand, in Kashkadarya region - 6 million 947 thousand, in Navoi region - 5 million 973 thousand, in Namangan - 6 million 543 thousand, in Samarkand - 6 million 942 thousand, in Surkhandarya - 6 million 803 thousand, in Syrdarya - 5 million 987 thousand, in Tashkent - 6 million 893 thousand, in Fergana - 6 million 502 thousand , in Khorezm - 6 million 156 thousand and in the city of Tashkent - 453 thousand seedlings.

Also by the end of the year in the center of each settlement, on an area from 50 acres to 2 hectares with a population of 50-100 thousand inhabitants, it is planned to create "Ministerial parks", "Hokimiyat parks", "Green parks" and "Public parks".

In addition, it is planned to plant 1 million 835 thousand ornamental  and fruit trees and create "green belts" around large industrial enterprises of I and II categories in the republic.
