In 2021-2022, 57 individuals and legal entities were allocated 39.8 hectares of land within the territory of the Zarafshan National Nature Park in the Samarkand region for the purpose of signing lease agreements and constructing a recreational center.
Currently, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, in accordance with the decisions of civil and economic courts, is carrying out the demolition of objects illegally constructed by 11 entities, including individuals and legal entities.
During the demolition work, a large-scale reconstruction of buildings, walls and fences is being carried out step by step using specialized equipment on the territory of the national park.
In the remaining incidents, the Prosecutor General's Office opened criminal cases and is conducting additional investigations.
Trees were planted in place of the demolished illegal buildings.
In addition,Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, the Prosecutor General's Office, and officials of the Zarafshan National Nature Park, work is being carried out in the protected area to improve, clean up and landscaping the territories of demolished buildings.
