A meeting was held in the building of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, with the participation of representatives from the Eastern Committee of the German economy delegation.

During the meeting, the work carried out in Uzbekistan was discussed, particularly the principle of "zero waste" in the solid waste management sector, in accordance with the decision "On Measures for the Effective Organization of Activities of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change" adopted by the President of Uzbekistan. The committee chairman was provided with information on the steps being taken towards gradually transitioning to full waste reprocessing at all landfill sites.

Issues of waste management, reprocessing, and disposal were also discussed.

As a result, an agreement was reached to establish mutual cooperation in the creation and implementation of projects in the field of waste management.
