The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change organized an open-air exhibition and competition titled "Ecology and Climate Change Through the Eyes of Artists" in nature.
As part of the competition, a working group from the Academy of Arts and experienced artists visited theLower Amudarya Biosphere Reserve, Ugam-Chatkal, Zarafshan, and Khorezm National natural parks, Chatkal Biosphere Reserve, and Surkhan State Reserves under the Ministry of Ecology, where they painted landscapes of the rich and unique nature of Uzbekistan.
The purpose of the competition is to preserve the environment, increase the culture of rational use of natural resources, strengthen the feeling of love for the natural resources of Uzbekistan - mountains, forests, rivers, flora and fauna in the minds of young people, as well as promote the autumn nature of the country through painting, encouraging talented artists to depict unique corners of our country in the landscape genre, increasing the activity of young artists, especially talented youth in remote areas of the republic.
At the end of the plein air painting event, artists who submitted at least three works will be awarded cash prizes, certificates, and souvenirs. The recognition of participants will take place at the opening ceremony of the plein air exhibition in Tashkent.
