An event dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.

The event was attended by the head of the secretariat of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, Kadamboy Saitov, the advisor to the Minister, Matnazar Elmurodov, members of the Ecological Party faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Navruzbek Yusupov and Mahira Khojaeva, as well as representatives of regional offices and departments of the Ministry.

During the event, members of the Ecological Party faction expressed their views on the changes introduced in the new Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

"The main goal is to further express the interests of the people. The new articles provide for the promotion of environmental awareness among the population and timely informing the public about changes in the environmental sphere. In particular, Article 49 establishes by law that 'Everyone has the right to a comfortable environment and reliable information about its state'," said Navruzbek Yusupov.

During the event, it was emphasized that the changes in the Constitution are not in vain and that the interests of the population are protected in every article. The new articles were also explained in detail.

"Each change was made based on the wishes of the citizens. The opinion of the public was studied," said Mahira Khojaeva.

During the event, participants received answers to their questions of interest. It was noted that the new edition of the Constitution will serve as a solid foundation for the prosperous future of the country.
