The "New Breath - Ekiden" running competition took place in the park of the capital, "New Uzbekistan."

The event, organized on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was attended by about 700 representatives from ministries and agencies, law enforcement bodies, higher educational institutions, private organizations, and running enthusiasts.

In the competition,the number of teams in the marathon was approximately 100, including the active participation of the youth and volunteer team from the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.

Participants competed in men's, women's, mixed relays, and other categories. At each stage, they covered a distance of 3.18 km. The total distance was 22.26 km. As a result, the Ministry of Defense team won the men's category, the Radikteam team won the women's category, and the Z_Runteam won the mixed relay.

The goal of the event was to popularize a healthy lifestyle among the population, promote walking instead of using private transport, and preserve the environment.
