State inspectors of the Dzhambay District division of the Department of Ecology of the Samarkand region saved the life of a rare bird.

As it turned out, a resident of the mahalla "Sarchashma" of the Dzhambay district of the O.S. noticed a rare bird trying to fly around the farm. The citizen took her home and contacted the district Department of Ecology.

While studying the situation, it was found out that the bird was a migratory species—the steppe eagle, listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan. The bird underwent special examinations in the Zarafshan National Nature Park and was released into the wild.
