A UAE delegation headed by the Executive Chairman of the Government of the Emirate of Sharjah, Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, has arrived in Uzbekistan on a visit.

The representatives of the delegation got acquainted with a number of historical complexes in Bukhara, including the “Miri Arab” Madrasah, the Kalon Minaret, and the Lyabi Hauz Square. A memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the city of Bukhara and the Emirate of Sharjah was also signed.

During the visit, representatives of the delegation will also visit a number of historical sites in Samarkand and the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road". In addition, they will take part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition of archaeological finds of the Emirate of Sharjah in the Art Residence at the University.
