On April 29, Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov met with young people.
For information: according to the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy "Uzbekistan-2030" in the "Year of Youth and Business Support", 123 thousand young people were assigned to state organizations. The program provides for a meeting between each head and the young people assigned to the organization to study and positively solve their problems.
At the meeting, the Minister noted that special attention is paid in our country to the high-quality education of young people, vocational training, and employment. The Ministry of Ecology has done productive work in this direction.
"Last year, a total of 130 young people were assigned to the ministry. More than 60 of their problems have been solved, and comprehensive assistance has been provided in ensuring their employment through vocational training as well as in raising legal awareness and culture", said A. Abdukhakimov.
It is worth noting that young people are assigned to each ministry and department, with whom practical work is carried out to ensure their employment, finding a place in life, and conducting conscious leisure. This year, 25 young people from the "Turkistan" mahalla in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city have been assigned to the Ministry of Ecology.
During the meeting, a dialogue was held with young people, and their problems and suggestions were listened to. Also, based on the proposals, a roadmap of tasks and activities that will be implemented in the future was developed.
According to the data, there are more than 19 million young people under the age of 30 in our country (or 55% of the population). 600,000 young people enter the labor market every year, and in the next 10 years, this number will reach 1 million. In turn, a number of measures are being carried out in order to ensure high-quality education, vocational training, and employment for young people. In particular, a vertical management system has been created to organize these works. Dedicated and enterprising youth leaders were appointed in 9,500 mahallas. Thanks to this system, more than 100 opportunities have been created for young people, and targeted support has been launched.
At the end of the meeting, the minister noted that a special working group had been created to study and positively solve the problems of youth, and special attention would be paid to each appeal. As a result of the event, young people were awarded certificates for learning foreign languages and specialized courses.
