In connection with the complaints received from the population of Akhangaran district by the staff of the State Ecology Committee in consultation with the General Prosecutor's Office in the period from February 7-16 of this year. A review of compliance with the environmental legislation of Akhangarancement JSC located in the industrial zone of Akhangaran city, Tashkent region was conducted.

During the inspection, employees of the State Ecology Committee revealed a number of violations of the legislation in the field of the protection of atmospheric air, water and land resources, as well as waste disposal.

According to the results of the audit of the enterprise, 16 employees of this enterprise were brought to administrative responsibility, and also compensation payments were paid in the amount of 423 million soums for environmental pollution.

In addition, the company developed an Action Plan to address the identified deficiencies, which was submitted to the State Committee for Ecology for the further implementation of environmental monitoring.

At the same time, it should be noted that at present the enterprise is working on the construction of a new high-tech plant for the production of cement in an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly "dry" way.
